For an elegant look, choose a simple walnut table with slender legs. A Bombay chest with drawers can lend an exotic feel and give you added storage. If you want a log cabin feel, use a rustic hallway table and for a modern look use glass or metal.

Even though a hallway table will take up space in your foyer, it will actually make it appear larger than it is. Just don’t get one so big that it crowds the area that will be used to walk through. The cost would be close to the same and you would most likely have more storage space.

3. Lease your office furniture. If you want the best quality and nicest looking furniture for your office, you might consider leasing or renting your furniture. You can enjoy the beauty of a brand new office with a lower up front cost. Do your homework and read all the fine print in the contract so that you don’t end up paying more than you should in hidden fees. If you research thoroughly, you should be able to get a good deal and keep your cash flow in check while you get your office set up.

Bookcases and bookshelves can be bought online and are available for the home or the office.  It doesn’t stop with a wooden bookcase, there are metal ones available as well.  You can buy classic or modern, fancy or cheap.  There is an enormous range of styles out there.
